Here's some information we believe you'll find interesting.
SHOW TIME
There was a misunderstanding regarding Nicolas' email yesterday. It was intended as a reminder of the procedure: to check in via VMO before travelling to the airport. If you forget, the dispatch will call you. You must answer this question. This allows them to confirm that all the crew members will be there in time for the flight. If you haven't done your VMO check-in and don't answer the dispatch call, the dispatch will call a reserve pilot in your place. This is what must be avoided and has repercussions on the operation. As long as everyone checks in VMO or answers the phone if they forget, there's no problem. So, Nicolas's email can be ignored, but you can continue to follow this procedure.
SAFETY JACKET (yellow waistcoat)/ Suspenders:
Recently, several safety vests and braces have mysteriously disappeared from the loft. If you have forgotten yours and are borrowing someone else's, please make sure they know and put them back. It's frustrating not being able to find your equipment when needed...
