The first step was taken this week, with the ratification of a new collective agreement. However, this new agreement is not yet active. It has to be written up, approved by both management and labour, and then all the departments concerned must receive the new instructions concerning our new agreement.
The voting window for the Tentative Agreement January 2025 is now closed. We are pleased to report the TA has been ratified, and is in effect on as of January 31. 2025.

Your MEC Vice-Chair, Mateo, recently joined ALPA representatives from across the U.S. and Canada at the Association's 50th Board of Directors meeting in Chicago, representing over 78,000 pilots.
We met with management yesterday to discuss schedules and what their process was for forming them. The GDO's appear before the schedule is finalized, since they are placed first, regardless of the flights (only our bid).
Last week, your MEC attended the ALPA Canada Board meeting in Ottawa for two days. It was an opportunity to sit with the union leadership of other carriers to share and discuss successes and issues facing pilots across Canada.
