The results of the Tentative Agreement are as follows. Of the 79.41 percent of eligible pilots who cast ballots, 89 percent voted against the agreement, with 11% in favour. In the coming weeks, the MEC, Negotiators, and ALPA staff will meet with the company to deliver a revised counteroffer. We want to thank the ALPA staff for supporting us and continuing to do so on this journey, but most of all, we want to thank you, the pilots, for your strength. The GDO's appear before the schedule is finalized, since they are placed first, regardless of the flights (only our bid). 10/9/2024 MEC Update: ALPA Canada Board Meeting Last week, your MEC attended the ALPA Canada Board meeting in Ottawa for two days. It was an opportunity to sit with the union leadership of other carriers to share and discuss successes and issues facing pilots across Canada. 9/10/2024 Tentative Agreement Reached We are pleased to announce that we have reached a Tentative Agreement (TA) with the company.
